Supercross: Race Recap
Congratulations to all of our riders this past weekend in Anaheim, California
Dean Wilson had an incredible A1 performance! Qualifying 2nd out of the practice, Dean had the first gate pick in Heat 1. After a great start Dean qualified directly into the main event finishing 2nd just behind Ken Roczen. As the 450 main filled into the gate the sky opened up and drenched the already wet race track. Dean Wilson pulled and massive holeshot and was able to lead and to hold on to that lead for the first 14 laps before running into lappers. As Dean encountered lappers the treacherous conditions began to take their toll and Dean had to remove his goggles. With the muddy wet track and no goggles Dean struggled a bit to navigate but was able to bring home a well-respected 4th place finish.
Justin Hill qualified 11th out of combined practice. Justin then qualified 8th out of 450 Heat 2. During the main event Justin unfortunately went down in the muddy 1st turn. After coming from well behind the pack, Justin was able to make up a few spots before going down again for a second time. Justin was able to get back on the bike and to persevere and capture some points for the night pulling through for 15th place.
Privateers Cheyenne Harmon and Alex Nagy were able to finish 9th and 16th in the 450 lcq respectively
