Loretta Lynns Interview with Rising Amateur: JACE KESSLER

This week we had the opportunity to catch up with one of our favorite amateurs, to see what has been happening in the months leading up to the infamous LORETTA LYNN’S. As of late, Jace Kessler has been putting in the time and efforts to make this year’s race at Loretta Lynn’s one for the books. We got down with Jace and this is how it went…

O’Neal: What classes are you planning on racing at Loretta’s?

Kessler: 250b & 450b limited classes.

O’Neal: What are your expectations?

Kessler: My expectations coming into Loretta’s this year are to win without a doubt! I have come so close so many times at Loretta’s. I feel like this is my year for sure, I’m feeling really good coming in and I’ve been working hard to put it all together and make it happen this year!

O’Neal: How is the new training program going at Club MX?

Kessler: Training has been going great down here! Decided to switch up my program a little this year coming into Loretta’s and Club has always stood out to me, so we decided to give it a try and I’m loving everything about it! We definitely have been putting in the work down here to be the most prepared as possible coming into Loretta’s, and my fitness feels awesome, and riding is probably at an all-time high. It’s super helpful having a lot of top pros here to moto with and learn from out there. I know where I want to go and they know what it takes to get there so hearing some of their advice and being out there battling with them has helped my riding a ton.

O’Neal: What’s your favorite Loretta Lynn’s memory?

Kessler: Favorite Loretta Lynn’s memory would probably be when I got my first ever moto win back in 2013 on 65s. Overall that was one of my best years at LL, I won three motos between the two classes and finished on the podium overall in both.

O’Neal: What’s your favorite kit from our new 2020 line of gear?

Kessler: Hmmm that’s a tough one to answer haha. All the 2020 kits are insane in my opinion but if I had to pick one it would probably be the Mayhem Reseda in the Gray/Teal!

O’Neal: Any sponsors you would like to thank?

Kessler: BTO Sports, O’Neal, Alpinestars, 100%, Monster Army, Ethika, Pod, Arma Sport, Warrior Juice Co, Thrill Seekers, Dunlop, FMF, Renthal, TCD Suspension, Matrix Designs.
